Introducing Jahi Kearse, a down home Georgia crooner. Born and raised in Atlanta, he has spent his entire life creating his brand of southern soul. A writer, actor, photographer, musician, painter, and poet, for over 18 years, Jahi has been developing his style, performing on stages in Atlanta, across the country, and around the world. He has performed with the likes of Laurnea, Anthony David, Kindred The Family Soul, Donnie, Sounds of Blackness, OMAR, T.C. Carson, Debbie Allen, Bobby McFerrin, India Arie, and Michael Jackson. His sound fancies the past, but is clearly the pulse of the present. He mixes the sweetness of the Beatles, with the passion of Jimmy Hendrix to transport you on a musical voyage. Close your eyes. With lyrics that entice you to listen; he creates a wonderful blend of funk, jazz, folk, gospel, and rhythm and blues. It’s Jahi’s music. music not just for the sake of the groove, but to help the culture move. His debut album, Memoirs of a BlueChild, is now taking Atlanta by storm, and is currently working on a follow-up project.
