Interview: John Klein – Slow Motion Fire Breather
Lillian Beauregarde on 12 27, 2009
While home in Ohio I had the opportunity to have a chat with a fellow Toledoan, John Klein. As far as success stories go, I like this one. When you find a person doing the job they went to school for and actually loving it, it’s the most wondrous kind of success. Klein is one of those people whose energy and enthusiasm for his chosen career is infectious. He’s going to be that guy I plan to say “I knew when…”
Check out his interview over at our youtube channel!
Klein is part of the local team of artists who created the film Glass City, a movie filmed in and based around the city of Toledo. Most former citizens of this once great city will agree that we have a love/hate relationship with our home town and Klein’s production certainly deals with that. As they say on the movie’s website, “The film follows Mike on a summer journey of self-discovery and forgiveness, as he realizes that the city and people he’s come to loathe may just save him in ways he never could have expected.” Check out the website for the film and definitely keep your eyes peeled for more features in the future.
