So, today I was curious about what was the most expensive painting ever sold for? I was thinking maybe the Mona Lisa or something obvious like that.

Then I found out…

The most expensive painting ever sold is “No. 5, 1948″ by Jackson Pollock. It was sold for 140 million dollars!! That’s more than the Mona Lisa is insured for!!
